Broken Heart

This heart has broken too many times.

Now it’s too afraid to speak its mind.

Only wants peace to find.

My words would be as confusing as the actions of mimes.

Words and actions should be crystal clear.

And should have no fear.

However confusion flows like tears.

This heart has broken too many times.

And most days quite shy.

Things cause it to fly.

But the harder I try.

This heart has broken too many times.

I find myself over-thinking.

But no longer mimicking.

However the clock in my head keeps ticking.
